Early Learning Center is a preschool (ages 3-5) and before-after K-1 (ages 5-7) program conveniently located in beautiful Bayshore Clubhouse. Programs fill up early so please contact us today for more information or a visit. Children attend monthly either full time or part time. This is not a drop in center, but a wonderful preschool with an excellent professional staff.

The part day preschool program offers a well-balanced curriculum and has influences of Reggio Emilia, Montessori, and current early childhood guidelines. The curriculum is based on the children's individual interests, talents, and desire to learn. The teachers use this information to prepare daily lessons, to focus on activities such as art projects, songs, finger plays, and learning through exploring the classroom environment. Lesson plans evolve naturally and are driven primarily by the interests of the group. We go swimming in the on-site swimming pool every other week throughout the winter. Register now for Fall 2009.

The classroom is setup to cultivate a child's desire to learn. This educational process builds confidence and develops self discipline. Special classroom materials are used so the child can work independently and "learn by doing". Children are encouraged to exercise the freedom to pursue their individual needs, and to set a natural rate of progress by doing work of their choice. The teacher develops a challenging and aesthetically appealing environment that attracts the child to work, and offers a variety of lessons for the individual, small, and large groups. Children in our classrooms learn through example and guidance to behave in an orderly manner with respect for others rights. Join our wait list for Fall 2009.

We offer before and after care to students in Kindergarten and 1st grade to students at Bayshore Elementary. The children arrive at our center between 7:00 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. A teacher accompanies them to school. Your child is responsible for arriving at the flag pole in front of Bayshore Elementary immediately after school where they will be greeted by our staff and accompanied back to Bayshore Early Learning Center. We have one "before-after" opening and one "after only" opening for Fall in this small group of very special students.
2010 or 2011 WAIT LIST
Your child can be on a wait list for any of our programs. If we have an opening, we will call you. Also, if your child is too young to attend school in 2010, join our waitlist for summer and fall 2011 by indicating your preferred start date. Bayshore Early Learning Center is currently accepting names for the free wait list for Summer and Fall 2010. Students on the wait list will be offered a chance to enroll for open positions on a space available basis starting before registration is open to the general public. Waitlisted students may register in late March for Fall 2010. Join our wait list!
